- This was shown on the 1900 census. Her birth place was also shown as NJ instead of VT. However, she lived in the same town in 1880 and she was buried in 1906 in the same town. I have reviewed the census by hand for this town, and she is the only Ellen Nestor listed. I also located the Inslee family, where she lived before, and she was not there.

- Died on Saturday of heart trouble at the home of her brother Patrick Nestor in Franklin Furnace aged 49 years. She was ill only 20 minutes. The funeral took place on Tuesday at 10 o'clock a.m. at the Catholic church in Franklin Furnace, Rev. D. J. Brady officiating. Interment in Newton cemetery.
She is survived by a brother Patrick of Franklin Furnace, and a sister in Newton.
Her parents were the late Patrick and Ellen Nestor of Franklin.
