Mrs. Lunda Gilreath Rhodes of 511 Sixth Street, North Wilkesboro, died Saturday at Wilkes Geneal Hospital following an extended period of ill health.
She was the widow of John F. Rhodes and was a native of Wilkes County. Her parents were Marcus L. and Venia Hendren Gilreath. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of West Jefferson and was a former member of the First Baptist Church of North Wilkesboro.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Shoun Kerbaugh of North Wilkesboro; a sister, Mrs. T. K. Thomas of North Wilkesboro; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Chapel with Dr. John T. Wayland officiating. Burial will be in Mountlawn Memorial Park.
The body is at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home, where the family will be from 6:30 to 8:30 tonight. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice."
