    • Funeral Services Held In Colquitt For Mrs. W. J. Bush

      Funeral services for Mrs. W. J. Bush, 81, of Colquitt, were held Monday afternoon, May 6th in the Colquitt Methodist Church with Rev. Carlton Anderson and Rev. Alvis Watte officiating.

      Mrs. Bush, the former Miss Dola Rich, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. E. A. J. Rich of Decatur County, was one of Colquitt's oldest and most loved citizens. She was an outstanding member of the Colquitt Methodist Church where she served for fourteen years as director of the lementary department of the Sunday School. She served as one of the first women stewards, president of WSCS, Bible teacher, guild teracher, league leader, church trustee, church historian and in many other church capacities. She had served as a director of the Colquitt Citizens Bank since 1928.

      Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Y. L. Roberts of Donalsonville; one grandson, William E. Bush, serving in the Air Force in California; one great-granddaughter, Melinda Bush of California and two brothers, Perry and Tom Rich of Bainbridge.
