being sick & in a low state of health & calling to mind
the mortality of my body & knowing that it is appointed
for all men once to die And after Death to Judgment
I believing in the resurection of the dead principaly &
first of all I give my soul to god who give it &
my Body to be buryed in a Christian manner at the
discresion of my Executors & as touching my worldly
goods wherewith it pleased the lord to bless me with
I give & Demise in the following Manner I E first
that all my Just Debtts be paid 2nd ly to my beloved
wife Ann Jones I Bequeath all my household furniture
Stock plantation tools my houses & half the land also
ned lucy & bet During her life then Ned to Betsey-
Bet To Benjemine & Lucy free the rest to be proportioned
by household furniture that J s Nancy & Salley 3rd ly to
my son allen Jones as 3 heirs one hundred Dollars Each
When they come of age to be paid out of my Estate
4th ly to heir of my Daughter Polly Rutland Gin 5th ly to
Jinney Holladay fan & her children
6th ly My son Britain Jones Sam & Semss Manachey 7th ly to my
Son Benjamin J. Pety & Jude 8th ly Sarah J[ones?]
Chair[n?] 9th ly Betsey J Mill[ey] & her children Siss 10 ly
Nancy J ^[Pastural? Sun.?]. my land to be equally divided between Brittan & Benjamin J.^ at death of my wife according to
Quanty & [qullily?] & for the due Execution of this

my trusty friends Benjamin Jones and John Wilson
to act as this my last will is & I do hereby Revoke all
and Every other will by heretofore maid Confirming
